When I watch To The Hills, I feel much better about myself and also a little sad for society. I also feel this way when I watch Showgirls.
I laugh about the same amount too.
Also, just to clarify, To The Hills is way better than Showgirls and evokes a different kind of elevated self esteem and sadness for the state of society.
And to further clarify I will say that when I watch To The Hills I feel better about myself because I understand most of the content and thereby feel like someone on the inside of an inside joke. When I watch Showgirls I feel better about myself because I’m smarter than all the characters/writers/actors/producers/distributors and I have a better rack than Elizabeth Berkeley.
When I watch Showgirls I get sad about society because it allowed for Showgirls to be made and like some people actually went to see it. When I watch To The Hills I’m sad for society because only a small percentage have seen To The Hills and are missing out greatly. How can we change this?
